david delo

David A. DeLo is a director of The Academy. His responsibilities include financial institution consulting and marketing. David has served on the staff of the Executive Office of the President under Lyndon Johnson, the Office of Economic Opportunity as Deputy for Planning, the Advisory Commission on Civil Disorders, and the Advanced Sea Based Deterrent Study. He was President of Financial Planners Equity Corporation, a NASD Broker/Dealer and Registered Investment Advisor, and President of The Greenwich Group Inc, an investment banking firm which acquired Newburger Loeb & Co, Inc, a NYSE member firm, both of which were sold together in 1979. David has been Chairman and Director of Newburger Loeb & Co, DeYoung Advisory Group, Ltd., Newport Balboa Savings, and Director of other public and private corporations and foundations. He was co-founder of Southport Financial Corporation with Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company in 1984, and President of Southport Asset Management Corporation, managing in excess of $5 Billion USD for financial institutions, regulatory authorities and corporate pension accounts, retiring in 1994. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and The Washington College School of Law.

r. christopher hunter

Founder of The Academy of Legal & Financial Analysis, Ltd., Mr. Hunter is the Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Hunter conceived and developed STRATAGEM, along with QI ("Quant Index") and other intellectual property licensed to QFS. Mr. Hunter graduated and received a B.A. from Weber State College magna cum laude and with Honors in English; graduated and received his M.A. from UNC Chapel Hill in Comparative Literature; and graduated and received his J.D. from UNC Chapel Hill.

gretchen l. maciver

President of The Academy. Her expertise and responsibilities include Computer/STRATAGEM Use and Education, financial institution consulting, oversight of sales and marketing, and financial review. Mrs. MacIver completed her studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May of 2004, graduating with a B.A. in Chemistry as well as a B.A. in Political Science. Mrs. MacIver will complete her M.B.A. from Duke in 2010.

robert r. seidel

In-House Counsel for The Academy.  Mr. Seidel graduated with a B.A. in History from St. Norbert College in 1984.  He graduated in 1987 with a J.D. from Hamline University School of Law.  Robert received a license to practice law in the state of Minnesota in 1987.  He later received a license to practice law in the state of North Carolina in 1989.
